Kids in the Capitol
Groups from local child cares, preschools and Head Starts were at the Capitol this week advocating for early care and learning. Along with a valentine and some chocolate, all 60 legislators received the updated McDowell Economic Impact study of Eearly Care and Learning, Investing in Young Children Public Policy Priorities 2011, and Alaska's Children: Today & Tomorrow poster. The little lobbyists were very well received and certainly made quite an impact!
