Nutrition Training at Your Kitchen Table


All participants in the CCFP are required to attend at least one health or nutrition training each year (by September 30th) AND a mandatory annual year end training and registration which will be held in August and September (all helpers and assistants will be required to attend) in each community in the fall to submit new paperwork and go over program rules and requirements.

These trainings also satisfy Alaska state Licensing requirements.

There are many ways in which you can fulfill the nutrition and health training program requirement.You may receive credit for any nutrition trainings that you attend at conferences, accredited collage courses, community health and nutrition trainings.  Please contact our office anytime if you have a question about our training requirements or if a particular class qualifies.

Free Juneau Food Program Nutrition Training
Tuesday April 20th, 2010

AEYC Classroom


We will be discussing CCFP Meals, forms, nutrition and education activities for engaging children in healthy lifestyles and the impact you can have in that process. Food types ages and stages along with meal styles.

This will be the last Juneau in-person REQUIRED nutrition training opportunity for the remainder of the program year.
